Leachate

A local treatment facility where industrial leachate is treated with Laqua filter can be modeled as below.

After collection and possible pretreatment (normally aeration) the leachate goes to the Laquafilter stage. During summer time some leachate water can be pumped back and spread on landfield body for evaporation. The Laqua filter might have to be comlemented with a polish step. For example: Soil plant system, polish pools, wetlands or conventional treatment plants.
